The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) law replaces the current DPA (Data Protection Act) on the 25th May 2018 – and Styropack is taking action.
The new data protection act will require all businesses to gain consent to communicate and process any personal information they hold on individuals.
This is why Styropack is launching their ‘I’M IN Campaign, ensuring all individuals have opted in to be contacted by the Marketing team.
‘We send out occasional emails including updates on innovative product launches and relevant industry news and events,” says Marketing and Communications Manager, Bridget Bouch.
“With GDPR taking effect soon, we’re ensuring all recipients we contact are still interested in our content and are happy to stay in touch –it is key we are transparent with individuals about the use of their data’.
