Laura Kielty has been appointed UK Sales Manager for Produce and Horticulture at the UK's leading protective packaging supplier, Styropack UK. She replaces Gideon Woodhouse.
Laura has worked for Styropack for five and half years; previously she was Sales and Logistics Team Leader at Styropack's Grimsby site. In her new role Laura is responsible for £5 million pounds of business and she is already relishing the challenges of her new position.

"I am so pleased to be given this opportunity," says Laura. "The role involves key account management in the produce and horticulture sectors. And, while I am very familiar with produce, horticulture is a new area for me; I am really enjoying learning all about it so I can provide the best service to our customers."
Laura is embarking on a programme to visit all Styropack's horticulture; herb and watercress customers over the next couple of months, at the same time she will be taking charge of the produce sector which is just about to enter its most hectic period.
As well as managing Styropack's existing customer base in horticulture and produce, Laura will also be expected to pursue new business - including new markets and products.
"Laura has already proved herself to be intelligent, hardworking and conscientious," says Mike Pocock, Group Sales Manager.
"I am confident that Laura will thrive in her new role and enjoy the extra responsibility that it brings. Her natural charm and her diligent approach to her work make her a great asset to any team."
"Styropack is lucky to have her and I am sure she will bring credit to our organisation."
