Mike Mannion Retires After 41 Years in the EPS Industry

On 26 April 2006 Mike Mannion retired from his position as Manufacturing Director of Styropack UK Ltd.

Mike has worked unstintingly for 41 years in the EPS (expanded polystyrene) industry. He started his career at Vencel Resil, was Managing Director of Trondex (now SCA Tuscarora) and joined Styropack in 1987 as General Manager.

"Mike's expertise and experience are irreplaceable," says Gavin Birnie, Managing Director, Styropack UK.

"He will not only be sorely missed by Styropack, but also by the UK EPS industry as a whole. Mike is well known in our industry for his outstanding management skills, his technical know-how and his ability to tell terrible jokes.
