Today, Softbox Systems Ltd announced that Styropack UK is its preferred supplier for the new Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) product line it will be launching in the Autumn - Polynest®.
The revolutionary Polynest® design saves up to 45% on transport, and storage costs, by allowing two EPS boxes of the same size to be nested inside each other for delivery, storage and disposal.

The boxes are simply de-nested and a moulded peg slotted into the side wall making the box complete and ready for use. The clever design of the system ensures that the box is sealed and totally leak proof - a vital element as Polynest® is designed for use in shipping frozen food and pharmaceutical products using dry ice.
"Styropack is the leading supplier of EPS packaging in the UK and the expertise and assistance of the team has been invaluable to us. Our announcement today confirms the excellent working relationship we have developed with Styropack," explains Richard Jones, Managing Director, Softbox Systems.
"We worked closely with Softbox Systems on the development of Polynest® - the testing and assessment stage took around nine months - so we are very pleased with the announcement from Softbox," says Richard Lee, Sales Director, Styropack UK.
"Polynest® is a great product, offering outstanding insulation performance, having been scientifically tested by Softbox Systems to keep the temperature inside the box below -18ºC for a minimum of 24 hours and, of course, the shock protection offered by EPS is second-to-none," concludes Lee.
