New Works Manager at Blackburn

Styropack UK, the UK's leading manufacturer of moulded EPS and EPP packaging, has appointed Jason Mears as Works Manager at its Blackburn site.

Jason has excellent engineering expertise, much of it gained during his 14 years in the army. After the army, Jason worked as a process engineer at a foam supplier to the automotive industry and as production manager in the paper industry.

"Jason comes to Styropack with outstanding engineering skills," says Greg Burgess, Operations Manager, Styropack UK. "And, he also has excellent management and customer handling experience - both are needed for this demanding role."

Styropack's latest recruit is enjoying the fresh challenges: "Styropack is a great company and I'm really pleased to be working here. I'm enjoying learning about the machines, meeting a new team of people and visiting customers.
