Seasonal Surge In Home Delivery Orders

Styropack announced a seasonal increase in orders worth £100,000 due to the growth in home delivery ordering in the build up to Christmas.

"We supply protective and insulating EPS boxes to a number of premium meat, fish and smoked salmon suppliers in Scotland," explains Richard Lee, Sales Director, Styropack.

"Each of these has seen a huge increase in orders since October; many of their customers are getting their Christmas orders in early and they are buying food direct from quality suppliers rather than through their local supermarkets.

"Our EPS packaging is ideally suited to this market, we deliver on request and the outstanding insulation and protection guarantees the high quality of the food is maintained on the journey to the customers' home," adds Lee.

Styropack has also benefited from a seasonal surge in internet gift buying: "We have seen a sharp increase in shopping online for corporate and consumer gifts and that has further contributed to the Christmas increases," says Lee.
