Mike Pocock Appointed Group Sales Manager

Mike Pocock has been appointed Group Sales Manager of Styropack (UK) Ltd, with responsibility for fish, horticulture and produce packaging in the UK.

Mike joined Styropack in 1990 after 15 years as an auctioneer at the fish markets in Aberdeen and Peterhead. Previously, Mike was UK Sales Manager for fish, a job that took him all over the UK from Wick in North Scotland to Newlyn in Cornwall.

"I am looking forward to getting my teeth into this challenging new role," says Mike. "Fish, horticulture and produce are key sectors for Styropack. EPS plays an important role in the supply chain in all of them and I want to ensure that we keep our strong position as market leader!"

Mike is known for his perfectionist approach to work and play; his golf handicap recently went up to one and for ten years he was a grade one referee in Scotland. "Mike is a great asset," says Gavin Birnie, Managing Director, Styropack UK.

"He gives 100 per cent to any task he takes on and we are looking forward to another outstanding performance from him in his new role as our Group Sales Manager."
