Styropack launches recycled products at GroSouth Exhibition

On 9 November 2011, Styropack will be at the GroSouth Horticultural Exhibition, the leading exhibition in the South of England for the horticultural Industry.

“We are proud to offer the first seed tray in the UK that is moulded using up to 25% of used seed trays to make it – this really is a great way to recycle!”

The exhibition gives growers and other suppliers in the horticulture sector the chance to get together, find out what is new and to share expertise and opinions. Styropack Group Sales Manager, Mike Pocock says: “We are very pleased to have this opportunity to meet and talk to people working in the horticulture sector in the South.

“Plus, it’s a great opportunity for us to show visitors to GroSouth our new recycled range of products that contain used, returned seed trays. We have been taking back seed trays for recycling for many years, but this is the first time we have developed a product using returned material.

“Our site manager, John Crossley, and the team at Ford have worked hard to perfect a process where the returned material can be ground and then re-moulded into new products without any loss of quality or performance.

“After some experimentation and testing, we are proud to be able to offer the first seed tray in the UK that is moulded using up to 25% of used seed trays to make it – this really is a great way to recycle!”

As well as this new recycled product, Styropack is keen to emphasise the breadth and depth of its manufacturing expertise at GroSouth and welcomes any queries or ideas for new products or services that will benefit customers.

“Our key values are quality, service, value and innovation, we are constantly looking for new ways to improve what we do, develop our product range and to develop entirely new concepts,” says Mike.

“Do come and see us on stand 43, to discuss your requirements, your new ideas or just to say hello and find out what we do,” adds Mike.
