Campbells Prime Meat renews its contract with Styropack

Campbells, which sells fish and delicatessen items as well as meat, uses Styropack fish boxes to deliver fresh fish daily to hotels and restaurants all over Scotland and the north of England.

Stevie Walker, a Director at Campbells explains why he has chosen to renew his agreement with Styropack, “Styropack offers us good value for money, a very, very good service, plus excellent quality standards – which is very important to us and to our customers.

“We feel that Styropack is a good company to do business with because it is embracing innovation. With Synbra, it is at the forefront of developing new technologies like the new Biofoam material. ”

“We feel that Styropack is a good company to do business with because it is embracing innovation. With Synbra, it is at the forefront of developing new technologies like the new Biofoam material.

“Many of our customers have expressed an interest in Biofoam because it is derived from a renewable resource and it is biodegradable.”

Campbells is a family business that was founded in 1910 in Edinburgh; it is still run by a Campbell today. Perhaps this background contributes to its ethical approach to business; it certainly takes its corporate responsibilities very seriously.

“We have corporate responsibility policies that include sustainability and environmental good practice,” explains Stevie. “For example, we collect and recycle all the Styropack fish boxes that we deliver to customers.”

Styropack’s outlook fits well with Campbells, explains Stevie: “Styropack is a progressive company, they understand the impact their business has on the environment and they are looking at ways to improve on their performance. Styropack is looking to the future, which is all you can ask of a business isn't it?”
